The Nurses Graduate Program is a new and exciting program, which is a collaborative regional program. The program is a 12 month program that consists of two 6-month rotations within the Lorne Community Hospital and Barwon Health. The advantage of the program is graduates gain experience in both the rural and large regional sector.
The Lorne Community Hospital prides itself on nurturing graduates and providing speciality areas in acute care, community health and aged care. Our dedicated staff members are committed to providing personal and professional development opportunities for all of our graduates, through competency based assessment and training.
To apply for a graduate position, applicants are managed through Computer Match and co-ordinated by the regional panel. The Computer Matching System is administered by the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria on behalf of the Department of Health.
Information about our 2016 programs will also be available on-line May 2015.
